Soft prepregs
RCN has specialized for over 40 years in the production of soft prepreg materials for numerous industries. These composites offer the advantage of high tensile strength, abrasion resistance, corrosion resistance, good conductivity, and high-temperature resistance.
Soft prepregs can be composites with polyester resin and phenolic epoxy resin. They provide outstanding mechanical performance and a reinforcing effect on structures.
Among our soft prepregs is MOLD 220 EP: a 235 g/m2 non-woven fabric made of continuous polyester fiber, pre-impregnated with flexible epoxy resin, with a medium viscosity grade, slightly self-adhesive, used in the production of various components and sports equipment, as well as in the automotive field. There is also Epoxy Carbon pre-impregnated with epoxy resin, dry or slightly tacky, used in the production of electrical insulating materials and secondary structural industrial components.
